Thought you would like to know we have just posted up the first images of finds from the site.
The photographs are of three coins ranging from around 1247, back to around AD341-346 - the time of Emperor Constantius II.

Wow, aren't those super! Were they found in stratified contexts, or has everything been thoroughly disturbed and mixed up in the past? I suspect the latter if the Roman coin came out first, but is any interpretation of the site's history starting to look possible yet?
Good to see more info on the site and pictures of some of the finds. Also closer views of the diggers and work in progress. Can we have some pictures of the other finds I hear there has been some good Samian found and some of the bone objects sound very interesting.
